We are a established family run care agency with an experienced and passionate team

Pete and Anita Metcalfe are the working directors of the company who between them have many years’ experience of Social Care and company management. Home care for the elderly in York, Tadcaster, Selby and surrounding area



Our administration office is based in Tadcaster, where you are welcome to visit, however our staff team and management are locally based in your area. We are always happy to discuss your needs in the comfort of your own home at a time to suit you.

We are both passionate about our business and understand the importance of finding the right people to support you.

Our staff are our ambassadors and we believe that supporting them well enables them to do the same for you. All team members are given comprehensive induction and training along with regular supervision and on-going support. A helping hand in York, Tadcaster, Selby and surrounding areas.

As part of our rigorous recruitment process every member of the team has to have a criminal records bureau and career history check as well as two written references.

In line with the Government’s personalisation agenda we aim to provide a holistic service geared up to your individual needs whether this is for 15 minutes to 24 hour care or other types of support. Your care package will be planned with you and designed to suit your life.

Pete Metcalfe


Pete has managed his own successful businesses since 1989, he now looks after the daily running of the business including planning, administration and finances.

Anita Metcalfe

Director / Registered Manager

Anita who directly manages the delivery of our services has worked in social care for over twenty years, her qualifications include NVQ level 4 in health and social care, leadership and management in social care level 4, NVW assessor and Management of dementia services at level 6 honours.

Marie Heneachon

Care Manager

Marie oversees the daily running of our domiciliary care service and manages the staff team. She has twenty years’ experience in social care is dedicated to ensuring that standards are maintained to the highest level. Alongside completing numerous relevant training courses she has achieved NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care, and a team leading qualification. If you need any information regarding our services Marie will be happy to visit you in the comfort of your own home. If you decide to use our company she will discuss your requirements beforehand to ensure that we provide a service that is tailored to your needs and preferences.
